FilesRename provides a simple filename cleaner. We prioritize privacy: uploads are processed in a stream-only fashion and the server does not store a copy of your files.

Files

• No storage: the rename endpoint streams the uploaded file back with a clean filename and discards the temporary data.
• Validation: we verify file type and size to protect the service.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics/Tag Manager to understand aggregate usage (page views, device types, referrers). These tools may set cookies per their policies. You can block analytics via your browser or content blockers.

Server logs

Web servers typically log IP address, user agent, timestamp, and requested path for security and debugging. Logs are retained for a limited period.
